49 North is committed to providing a unique ringette experience for every participant with an emphasis on “full-time” sport specific instruction offered at a value price.

Our goal is to deliver a challenging, progressive, creative and fun instructional program that will allow every player to reach their potential.

Rooted in the core fundamentals of ringette, 49 North curriculums are focused on player development in the following areas:

  1. Technical Drills
    – Technique development: skating, passing, shooting, checking and ring control
  2. Nervous System Stimulation/Overload
    – Multi-player, multi-ring skills, and games
  3. Team Play
    – Game like drills (1 on 1 to 3 on 3)
  4. Transition Games
    – Themed games, attack-defend games, scrimmages

Power Skating Programs

For hockey & Ringette

49 North Power Skating provides individual, group and team power skating lessons to a variety of age and skill levels. The emphasis is on the development of skating skills in hockey and ringette.

  • U16 Half Day. August 10 to 14, 2020. 11:30 AM to 2:15 PM
  • U14 Half Day. August 10 to 14, 2020. 2:30 PM to 5:15 PM


  • U14 Full Day. August 17 to 21, 2020. 9:00 AM to 3:45 PM
  • U16 Full Day. August 17 to 21, 2020. 9:15 AM to 4:00 PM


  • U10 Half Day. August 24 to 28, 2020. 9:00 AM to 11:15 AM
  • U12 Half Day. August 24 to 28, 2020. 1:00 PM to 3:45 PM

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Cancellations prior to May 1, 2020 will receive a full refund minus an $80 administration fee. Cancellations on or after May 1, 2020 are not eligible for a refund unless accompanied by a Doctor’s note. All refunds are subject to an $80 administration fee.
